emerging coldplug and error comes up

I am installing gentoo on an inspiron 1405. I compiled my kernel with genkernel. I'm following the handbook, and it tells me to emerge coldplug. I do it, and i get this error

Can anyone help me? I just got this laptop on the 3rd and I am trying to swear allegiance to gentoo.

figured it out. I had to emerge pciutils.
