|
|
OK, I just upgraded my xorg to the modular 7.0, which seemed to go smoothly. Running the revdep-rebuild as per the migration guide also downgraded a few of the parts of xfce4-4.3.90.1 I'm using, so I also re-emerged xfce4 to get those back.
Now I've rebooted, gdm loads up fine, and I log in, but xfce4 has no desktop background, right-clicking brings up no menu, etc...
Has anyone seen this happen? |

If you run 'xfdesktop &' from a terminal, what result do you have? |

It came up fine, and I was able to save the desktop layout so it would come back up.
Any ideas why it didn't come up in the first place, though? |
