Have a look and read about it if you haven't done that. I've tryed it a couple of times, and sure it's very nice but I wouldn't call it the next big thing though. But that's me I think people are loving the graphical appearance of E17 'cause it's very much eyecandy, with nice dropshadows, menus and stuff. You might be interested in reading some of Rasterman's past news--the lead developer (Rasterman.com and click news). There are some benchmarks down there and how-to write a dvd player in 18 lines using the EFL. Like geniux said, give it a try and see what you think.
And yes, it is my windows manager of choice. The graphics on it are great, but that isn't everything. I happen to also just like how it feels. |
