|
|
Ive got Xinerama set up on two 1600x1200 LCD screens using the proprietary ATi fglrx driver, and everything is working pretty much ok. But one small and annoying problem though: The mouse icon on the second display is always the arrow-type icon. It doesnt change into a hand-icon when you hold the mouse pointer over an URL for example, or when trying to resize a window.
This works as expected on the primary display, but not on the secondary. Any clues what this might be? _________________ I'm not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, I'm saying why don't we take the warning labels off of everything, and let the problem take care of itself? |

You're lucky, the mouse pointer on my second screen is just a garbled square :/ |

Loke,
Did you sort out the mouse pointer problem?
My dual head setup has been doing exactly the same since I went over to modular xorg. Not too impressed.
I'm running Xorg 7.0
ati-drivers 8.26.18-r1
bos_mindwarp,
I had the same problem but did find a solution. Try adding this to your xorg.conf (in the Module section)
Code: | SubSection "extmod"
Option "omit xfree86-dga" # don't initialise the DGA extension
EndSubSection |
