When I do an emerge world, it tells me that it wants to downgrade libdrm to libdrm-2.0.2. I have Xgl installed using the xgl-coffe overlay... For some reason, it appears that libdrm-2.1_alpha20060614 is missing from my portage tree...? I just did an emerge --sync, so I should have the latest; I also sync'd my xgl-coffe overlay to make sure that was up to date.
If I look at portage, the latest version there appears to be 2.0.1:
| Code: | /usr/portage/x11-libs/libdrm $ ls
ChangeLog Manifest files libdrm-2.0.1.ebuild metadata.xml |
And the xgl-coffe overlay has 2.0.2:
| Code: | /usr/local/portage/overlay/xgl-coffee/x11-libs/libdrm $ ls
Manifest files libdrm-2.0.2.ebuild |
Now, I have 2.1_alpha20060624 installed... so where did I get it from??? (and how do I get it back!?)

| I think CoffeeBuzz deleted it for some reason. He will have to respond as I don't know why he removed it. |

It is removed because it is not needed.
2.0.2 is all thats required and will eventually be in portage.
The idea is to keep the overlay as close to portage as possible and since 2.0.2 will be in eventually and 2.1 will not (at least not before 2.0.2), we go with 2.0.2.
