I was tring to install XGL and stuck at the point when trying to emerge xgl.
It seems like the system could not download the files using git handshake:

Did I just trying to do it at the wrong time, when they are updating the files on the server?

I know it's a bit later but, could you finally fix this ?
I'm having same problem with anongit repository. |
