Joomla! - why Apache?

Hi!

A couple of days ago I had the idea to try out Joomla! on my website.

I got rid of Apache a long while ago and I am pretty satisfied by lighttpd. I noticed that the joomla ebuild tries to install Apache.

Since I really didn't want that, I just copied the ebuild and removed the "net-www/apache" from the RDEPEND. I emerged, and it worked flawlessly.

So as far as I can see, there is no need for the Apache dependancy.

Or is there something I am missing? Any pitfalls I should know about when using joomla on lighttpd instead of Apache? Any known problems that would make Apache the better choice?

Just asking, you know, joomla had some severe security flaw revealed lately in external components, but that couldn't be worse with lighttpd, could it?
