I recently tried to upgrade to the new xorg-x11, but something has gone horribly wrong with my system and I am at a loss.
When I emerge xorg-x11 or rather I should say try to emerge it, I get this:

I figured I am missing a library or I need to reinstall one, I guest it was the message libraries. When I tried to emerge the mesa libraries this is what I got:

Firstly, emerge x11-proto/xproto. That should fix the configure problem with libX11.
Then try to move on with the installation. If it fails again, read https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-472218-highlight-x11proto+xproto.html and see if that helps. If it doesn't, reply here again.
