Xorg 7.1 & Xgl/compiz on iBook G3

Just out of curiosity, before I start fumbling around with my system...Has anyone
succeeded in getting Xgl to function properly on an iBook G3?

I've been installing Xorg 7.1, which runs quite stable on my little book, but for some
reason the video acceleration is gone. It worked fine under version 6.8.
The graphic rendering is done by an ATI M6 LY, which should be somewhat supported,
even in 7.1, I believe.

DRM does not start, but it should...dmesg gives me:

Ok, I got accelerated graphics now under Xorg 7.1

Now how to get rid of the black window bug?
