|
|
Hello all. I am trying to build QT 3.0.4.20020606-r1 with the ebuild script and have run into a problem in the compile:
Code: | qmake: Command not found |
The first thing I did was search for qmake, and it is only found in my temporary build directory:
Code: | /var/tmp/portage/qt-3.0.4-20020606-r1/work/qt-copy-3.0.4/bin/qmake
/var/tmp/portage/qt-3.0.4-20020606-r1/work/qt-copy-3.0.4/qmake
/var/tmp/portage/qt-3.0.4-20020606-r1/work/qt-copy-3.0.4/bin/qmake/qmake |
I am new to Gentoo, so the next thing I tried was an "emerge -p qmake" and a "qpkg qmake" thinking I may have to emerge a package. Both came up empty.
A google search tells me that qmake is a utility that trolltech uses specifically for building QT makefiles, but that's about it.
Is it simply part of another package that I'm missing, or is there more to this?
Thanks,

I fixed it ghetto style by copying qmake from the build directory into /bin so it was in my path. Hopefully things will continue to work cleanly, but the merge completed this time.
