I have compiled the festival 1.95 beta (without esd support) and I can't seem to get text2wave to work with
(set! voice_default 'voice_cmu_us_slt_arctic_hts). For example:
user@localhost ~/funmisc $ text2wave -F 44100 -o speech.wav test1.txt
Duration tree extreme for r 3.64693
Segmentation fault
This voice works when I'm playing it with festival --tts, but not with the wave output. Unfortunately, I can't seem to use vsound to capture the output that way.
Anybody have any ideas? |

Hi, did you find a fix for this? I've bumped into the same problem. The details are posted at the end of the Festival Tips thread. _________________ "Here on the moon, our weekends are so advanced, they encompass the entire week." ~ Ignignokt |

No, not yet. To be honest I haven't tried in a while. |
