Hi, I am having a major problem with livecd-tools's auto config. I configured the X11="no" to a yes in the /etc/init.d/autoconfig and also emerged the mkxf86config package and hwdata-gentoo , it detects the card properly but with EVERY single card I try it with it uses the vesa driver for the xorg.conf and i dont want that, i need it to use the proper driver like for example for my laptop, it needs to use radeon (its and ati mobility 7500), for my amd64 desktop i need nvidia (nvidia geforce 6100 and yes i emerged the package with binary-drivers flag) and for my other desktop the intel i810 driver wich is...i810.
But its always detecting everythign as VESA..why is that?
And Yeah, i tried using the masked version of both livecd-tools and mkx86config packages and stable ones, but no luck.
What am i doing wrong here? |
