I am having trouble using Azureus, as since the time that I last used it (a good few months ago) I have found that I get an error message telling me that I can not open up torrent file '' along with the open torrent box. I click on 'X' and then cancel and get an annoying message down the bottom of my screen (bottom right) telling me exactly the same and to check that I have enough temporay space. I then click on 'hide' but nothing happens.
I am using Java: Code: | java version "1.5.0_07"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_07-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_07-b03, mixed mode)

Thanks for all of your help. |

The first thing is a know bug for ages: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116803
The/a fix is to replace "$1" with "$@" (or something similar) in the startup script. (see bug report for details)
The second is also a know bug, but for which no 'fix' exists. You can however replace the Azureus2.jar file with a beta jar (available on the azureus website)
(the path is /usr/share/azureus-bin/lib/Azureus2.jar for azureus-bin, I believe). The non responsive buttons problem is fixed in that version. _________________ "Man fears the darkness, and so he scrapes away at the edges of it with fire."
