fortune-mod dependency in xfce4-session?

I just noticed that xfce4-session-4.3.90.2 has fortune-mod as a dependency.
I don't want to install it, why is it a dependancy anyway?

You could try and add --tree in emerge and see what wants it as dep.
i.e emerge --tree --pretend --verbose xfce4

I already know that xfce4-session has this dependency, the question is why does it need something like this?
Beta1 worked fine without the dependency and beta2 also works fine without it!

Just looked at the changelog and notice that fortune-mod was added as dep, there reason is unclear tho. Sorry, can't really help you with this matter, as I have no idea about. There might be some info in xfce4 homepage.

Just looked at debians changelog and it had this.

but there is no ebuild fortune-mod available so why is it a dep ?????
