gnome desktop multiple backgrounds

so i'm not sure how to search for this so i'll be that guy who asks dumb questions on the forum..

i kind of would like to have a different background for each desktop in gnome but i'm not sure how to set that or if i need to get a program to do it.

i would think i could just set it in some config thogh..

Google (other search engines are availible et cetera) is your friend. According to Gnome bug #48004 this isn't currently possible with the latest version(s) of Gnome. The application wallpapoz is referenced as a stop-gap solution.
