|
|
Do you know about some software, which I could use to create a presentation CD to send to my customers? I want to insert a short video sequence, pictures with descriptions and some info about our company, all packed together with some music, sound and a nice interface, (cool 3d effects or something alike) burnt on a bussiness-card CD. My first thought was to use flash, but I found no working linux tool for creating flash movies. It doesn't need to be free or opensource, I'm fine spending some money on it. (like fifty bucks, 600$ sw like flash mx isn't a possibility for me) And of course it doesn't need to be a flash authoring tool, I don't need to make flash movies, I need to create a presentation CD.
So is there some software which will suit me? Or do you know about some powerful combination of linux tools to do the work?
(If there's no useable linux software, I will probably buy a swishmax licence and use the windows computer I believe I have somewhere in the basement) |

Yes, but I don't believe, I can impress my customers with a "powerpoint presentation." I don't mind spending several weeks making a nice, professional-looking functional interface, actually I'm looking forward to learning something new and giving my artistic spirit a new kind of freedom. I'm pretty sure Oo.o isn't cutting it at all. |

How about making a nice DVD with a menu and a number of MPEG streams? You can use Blender to create cool animations and 3D effects, there are also a number of free Linux tools for creating slideshows in MPEG2/DVD format too. |

That's a good idea. Customers the won't even need to have a computer (not having one is still not uncommon in my country) |
