Hiya, I've recently begun with gentoo and must say I'm very impressed however I can't get my head around nano when it's run within kde. From the shell the end button moves the cursor to the end of the line like would be expected but within kde terminal it inserts a 'F'. I have the i18n GB packages installed and the following values in XF86Config:

Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc102"
Option "XkbLayout" "uk"

In /etc/rc.conf the following value is also used:

KEYMAP="uk"

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

Thanks
Dolbz

EDIT: All other KDE programs are working ok in this respect as far as I can tell

I've the same problem! Before it worked, but after upgrade (->3.1.1a) nano in Konsole begun act weirdly.

EDIT: LOL. After 10 sec I posted this message I decided to check Konsole settings. I changed Settings -> Keyboard -> Xterm (Xfree 4.x.x) to vt100 (historical) and now it works!
