I recently loaded Gentoo on my system and chose ck-sources for my kernel because I had heard it was quite fast for desktops. Is there anything special that I have to do when configuring the kernel to get all of the patched features or are all of these features automatic? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the patches will have a configuration option like Preemt Kernel, that you need to look out for.. but most are built in and do not need turning on. Allways take a look at the Help for each option whenever you are unsure. _________________ a.k.a port001

Be sure to enable Preempt if you want performance. Preempting owns. |
