Tonight I was cleaning out some old packages. I hesitated for a moment, but then decided it should be safe to unmerge Gallery 1.5_p1 from my system as I have happily been using Gallery 2 for awhile now.
Here's what happened... (pay attention to the line that says "Removing gallery-2.1.2".)

It continues to remove 1.5_p1 after that.
I am surprised that it touched my 2.1.2 install. I'm even more surprised that it told me it was the 2.1.2 install that it was removing. Is this a bug? Why did this happen? I need to spend the rest of the night piecing this back together from backups. <sigh> |
