Well, now that I've got my Gentoo box up & running, I want to get internet access back on my Windows Box again.

Here's my configuration:
Code:
Netcomm Router -->Pc #1 (Windows)
               -->Pc #2 (Windows)
               -->Server Box (Gentoo :-) --> Workstation (Windows)
               -->Pc #4 (Windows)

Now, at first I figured I'ld use Samba to configure internet for the Workstation, but after readins some sites on the interweb, discovered that a few people thought bridging would be a better way to go..

So, which would be easier/better? Keep in mind that I'ld like to configure Samba on the server box at some point anyway, but now I'm just concerned about getting my internet back ;)

If I well understood your idea, your plan is to have Windows boxes conenct to internet trough linux box.

In ths case, the linux box should have 2 NICs, one to conenct to internet, the other to cnnect your LAN, and shoud be used by Win machines as GW to connect to the internet.

YOu'll use Samba to share files between Win and linux boxes

Don't know if this could help you
