KDE styles gone

After emerging Qt 3.1.2-r3 and Fontconfig 2.1.94 last night I noticed two things., Xft fonts weren't accessible in Opera (didn't show up in font selector) and everything KDE looked quite ugly. After booting into KDE I found out the styles were gone, I could only choose between a few standard ones (Motif or whatever).
The font thing I fixed by remerging and older version of fontconfig, remerging Qt 3.1.2-r1 as we speak (hoping this will fix the KDE problem). Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I hope I get my KDE styles back without recompiling the thing itself :\
