Pretty much everything including glxinfo and glxgears gives me this error:

X Error of failed request: BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length error)
Major opcode of failed request: 144 (NV-GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 ()
Serial number of failed request: 8
Current serial number in output stream: 8

I can eselect opengl set 2 and it works I just dont get any direct rendering. If I set it to 1 (nvidia), I get this error.

I found the fix in the wiki but it says error: Xgl: command not found, the wiki is about troubleshooting Xgl, and frankly I don't have Xgl installed.

(I'm trying to do all this from a chroot btw but I dobt that has anything to do with it)
