[forums-announce] Upcoming deletion of inactive accounts

As our userbase has grown we've got more and more inactive or unused accounts, we will be implementing a new account pruning policy to reduce the size of the database and to free up some usernames.

Accounts will be deleted using the following criteria:

The account has no posts and it was registered more than 60 days ago where:
the user has never logged in or
the last login was more than 6 months ago and the user's registration date/last login date ratio is less than 2.

We will NOT delete any accounts that have posts.

If you think this may cover your account then you need to log in to ensure that your account isn't deleted.

The script will run as a monthly cronjob with the first run on Thursday 27th July. This first run will delete around 23,000 accounts.

Everything went as planned with 23438 inactive accounts deleted. We will be running this script once a month on the 27th.
