Hey all Im using the latest kernel, GCC 4.1 (Im in ~x86), Xorg 7.0, and the most current FGLRX in portage. Ive setup xorg.conf up right to my knowledge (will post) and ran ati-config --initial. Theres no DRI on in the kernel and AGPGART/chipset is compiled as a module in my kernel. FGLRX modprobes fine as does agpgart but I still have no DR. Heres the files:

/etc/X11/xorg.conf:

if you could post your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (assuming you're using display 0, if not, replace the 0 with your display), with that, we could see what's wrong.

There were no errors in xorg log, and yea I ran eselect, but I got it working. The problem was emerge ati-drivers was putting the driver files in /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri vs /usr/lib/modules/dri. A simple ln -s and all is good:)

Thanks for offerin the help :)
