Hi there!
After having Gentoo 1.4 on several of my Intel boxes I'd like to have it on my iMac too, but actually all I can find are antique 1.2 ISOs for booting.
Can anyone tell me where the 1.4 ISOs are hidden?
Regards,

Hi!
Well there I find the Live CD's - are these the installation discs now?
The installation guide referres to:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo/releases/build/
And there only 1.2 ISOs can be found.
Which of the three versions is the recommended one?
Allstages, Developer or Nostages? These names aren't that self explaining...

Nb. The Installation guide for PPC is out of date - it's version 1.2... In any case, if 1.2 boots for you, maybe you could boot that and snaffle a 1.4_rc4 stage as required.
