For some reason the installation liveCD won't go any further then that. Any suggestions? |

This has happened to me before, due to a bad cd burn. I tend to burn all my live cd's at the lowest supported speed by my burner, and have not had any problems since. |

Well, that doesn't appear to be the problem here. When i give ide=nodma to the kernel at boot, it boots through fine. However, certain programs won't run due to a reportedly corrupted libcrypto.so.0.9.7 (or something like it, i don't remember the exact message), and it won't unpack the stage tarball, because it says it is corrupted. |
