Which modules to compile and load for All in Wonder 9800 PRO

I am running Gentoo 2006 and have intalled the latest ATI propritery drivers. They seem to work fine for Xorg 7.0. But I want to watch TV. Emerged tvtime, but it cannot open /dev/video0. Are there any modules that I can compile and load to make the capture/tv part of the card to work? I've looked at gatos drivers but developement seems to have stopped there. Suggestions or pointers or URL pointing me in the right direction would greatly be appreciated. I would like to stay within the frame work of portage, ie not unmasking packages if possible. My motherboard is an Abit IC7 Max3 w/2.8 Ghz processor. 1GB RAM. 2 70 GB SATA Raptors for storage. <rant>Microsoft Windows finally tee'd me off for the last time and I've gone ALL linux. All 5 machines I own wiped and some form of Linux loaded on them. I feel good... up yours Bill. hehehe. I've disliked that crook since the 70's.</rant> _sorry_
