kde / kdm and X server wont start.

Ok i dunno anymore what to do, first startx was working (kde / kdm weren't though, never worked).
Now i downloaded nvidia-kernel and the glx driver, copied X.org conf to /etc/X11/.
Tried to start X server, didnt work.. "no screens" error.
When i try to start kde (startkde) i get serval errors, like failed to load.. no $DISPLAY set.
To many errors to write down..
Does anyone know a way to solve this ?

EDIT: also when i did modprobe nvidia i got fatal error, directory don't exist.
(used nvidia guide from this site btw)

Alternativly, upload it to webspace and post the URL (free webspace is really easy to come by these days if you don't have any)
