no print on samsung ml-2010

i have installed cups for my samsung ml-2010 and have tried both the gdi, and plxmono drivers.
the problem is when i try to print a test page every thing looks normal on cups and it says the job is done. the printer sounds like it is about to print, but nothing happens.
i followed a suggestion i read on this forum to install ghostscript-esp instead of ghostscript-gpl, but it did not make a difference.

any ideas?

im an idiot i had the warrenty stuffed in the paper tray and it was blocking the paper. sorry!
i got it working now with splix, under the driver ml-2010(en). the pxlmono driver for ml-2150 (recommended does not work for me)
