|
|
I'm using the 2006.0 LiveCD to install Gentoo on my PC and when I click on Gentoo Linux Installer in the livecd environment and go through all of the options and hit install the log says
"GLI: July 31 2006 22:13:32 - Setting root password.
GLI: July 31 2006 22:13:32 - Livecd root password set."
That's all it says besides the Working... and Preparing... bars on the bottom.
Is it supposed to be really slow at one point to the point where it looks like its not doing anything or is there something wrong with my install? |

AKIAK the gui installer is still experimental, id'e recomend dumping it, and doing a manual install following the handbook _________________ Research before taking any advice from me. I'm still coming to grips with this myself. |
