Hi all,
Just a quick question. Is it possible for xinetd and other daemons (for example sshd) to co exist on one system peacefully? By this I mean not having sshd invoked by xinetd but instead running by itself. I know this is probably not the sort of thing you'd do that often (or is it?) but it was just something I thought about yesterday... |

xinetd is just one other daemon, so there isn't any problem, you can do it, (eg: I have xinetd, mpd and apache, as three seperate daemons, xinetd is configured to launch vsftpd and sshd) ![Smile :)](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
