How do I disable backgrounding for a wireless ethernet connection, such as net.ath0?

I've looked through the forums, and modules=( "!plug" ) does nothing, especially since with RC_VERBOSE="yes", there is no "plug" modules loaded.

Add a timeout to wpa_supplicant then

Code:
associate_timeout_wlan0=60

BTW, why do you want to disable this? The scripts are intelligent enough to bring up the things later and net.ath0 does infact start

I'm still learning here...so, a question. (Actually, a brace of them)

1) How do I add a timeout to wpa supplicant? Is it just adding:

Code:

timeout=XX

to /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf?

2)

Where does the

Code:
associate_timeout_wlan0=60

Go?

Thanks in advance!
