Hello, I installed the Murrine Gtk2 Cairo Engine from http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=42755.
I did (following their instructions)
| Quote: | $ ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-animation
$ make
and then as root:
# make install |
But how do I enable it? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

An ebuild is available there at bugzilla.. I suggest you use it (Providing that it works for you)
May not solve your problem.

Hi, are you sure you installed the Murrine-THeme Pack? Because the engine only installs, the.. engine. You have to actually get the packs from gnome-look.org to install it. All the themes have "Murrina" infront of them [Murrina is singular, Murrine is plural - as per Cimi - who wrote the engine]
Anyways, the link is: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=43073 -- install the pack or other Murrina* .
BVC, a gnome themer, also has many Murrina Themes on his website, http://www.kernow-webhosting.com/~bvc/theme/gtk/murrine/
