hello,
I now have gnome-2.14 and am trying to get it working correctly.
i had a problem with g-v-m not autodetecting my pluginable usb stuff, but i was told to get rid of --sm-disable option in /usr/share/gnome/autostart/gnome-volume-manager.desktop. i did that, but now i have other things showing up in the "Computer" icon. Namely, i have my boot partition (showing up as "78.4 MB Volume") a windows partition showing up with a similar name etc. except for /boot, none of the other partitions is even in fstab, so i have no idea where g-v-m is getting this info from. |

Most likely g-v-m gets the info from HAL |
