We are receiving the following bounce when emailing 1 particular domain. It happens with mails of differing size and senders. The error message is:-
lost connection with mail.******.****[**.**.***.***] while sending message body)
Does anyone have any suggestions? |

It's not a common error for Postfix. I doubt that it's a problem with Postfix itself. I'd take a look at networking and also send a test message to the Third Party server via a telnet session to see exactly what is happening. |

The test message works fine....its only when mail increases in size that we have the problem. I have tried changing the MTU but we continue to have problems. |

I have carried out some further investivgation using Tcpdump.
Everytime we get this problem we get the following error:-
their domain > our domain 421 Error: timeout exceeded
I have increased the postfix smtp timeouts but I still continue to have
problems. Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks, |
