hi!
Ivman mounts devices by default to media. Is it possible to change that directory to mnt or something else?
Thx for information!

Well, here's a quick hack:
Boom, /media is a symbolic link to /mnt.
Beyond that, I'm sure there's some config file that ivman uses, but a quick google didn't turn anything up. |

That did it for me, I just had to remove the previous media folder so the link got placed correctly! Anyway, I'll continue searching to do that properly somehow, but thx a lot!

Cool. Remember to append a "[SOLVED]" (or, I guess more approriately a "[Kind of SOLVED]") to the topic! |

Well, I just found an issue! Mounting works, but I can only unmount the device as root. I think that has something to do with the symbolic link.
hm...I think I'll just continue searching.
[EDIT] oh, and I can't access the devices via system:/media anymore as /media/ doesn't exist anymore! I checked the ivman config-files yesterday but didn't found anything. Maybe its a HAL or KDE thing?? |
