For a light version of gnome, 250MB worth of packages seems like a lot. And if its light, why am I getting things such as seamonkey and evolution-data-server?
I dont know, maybe its just me. Can someone who has installed gnome tell me how big that was compared to this? kthx ;) |

I have gnome-light and I do not have any of those packages.

Do you have "eds" or "evo" as USE flags? That could explain why evolution-data-server is drawn in.
EDIT: Could also help to have -mozilla +firefox (if you use firefox, that is) |

yeah thats what I thought too. So I put -eds and -mozilla in my use flags, but they still showed up.. lol.
It was just kinda frustrating having to wait all that time for seamonkey when I dont even really want it.. I'm going to unmerge it as soon as everything is done.
But seamonkey and evolution-data-server are done... so I dont know lol.
EDIT: I just checked my make.conf and I put -ets by accident :s |
