Hello people !
During a fresh install with 2006.0 minimal CD, I have observed that the compilation process breaks with busybox, which looks like to expect a gcc 4.x (and only a gcc 3.2 is installed at that time) during the ./configure step.
I conclude that the note at the end of http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=6 saying that "locale-gen is available in glibc-2.3.6-r4 and newer. If you have an older version of glibc, you should update it now." should be changed to "locale-gen is available in glibc-2.3.6-r4 and newer. If you have an older version of glibc, you MUST update it now." As a side effect, this should install gcc4.x (and we must not forget to switch to it cleanly).
Did I miss something ?
