nvidia gforce 2 drivers [Solved]

I've read the official documentation, and the how-to wiki documentation. I understand the legacy masking for nvidia-kernel & nvidia-glx, I was just wondering, if I use nvidia-drivers (can I use nvidia-drivers? the wiki makes it sound like I can, the official has no mention of it), do i have to mask some versions too?

It was 'working' (had a TV out display) with nvidia-drivers, but no direct glx. So I tried going with the masked nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx, but now it can't setup to tv out. Thanks

In my continuing search, I just found that there is a 'nvidia-legacy-drivers' package. I will be trying that.

nvidia-legacy-drivers worked. So i'll leave this post incase anyone else is confused like I was.
