Hey there,
I am looking to invest in a dvd burner to use with my gentoo box. I was interested in the DVD DRU500A from Sony but I am not sure if it is really compatible. Any of you would have a dvd burner to recommend that works perfectly with gentoo? If I can't find any I would take a regular CD-RW burner.
Let me know if you have any idea please . |

I think all of them should act basically the same as far as software compatability goes - much like all modern CD burners I know work fine. For CD burners, I recommend LG because they're fairly cheap and seem to have good disc compatability, at least the one I have. |
