Arrivo subito al dunque: all'avvio di Gentoo il pulsante di "Mute" del mio notebook resta sempre attivo e quindi nessun suono, ora io non sò nemmeno da che parte iniziare per risolvere questo problema, chiedete che cosa vi serve per comprendere meglio il mio caso....grazie a tutti anticipatamente.

ops... che maleducato avete ragione, dunque...mi vergogno un pochino a dare la soluzione di questo mio immane problema (provabilmente a volte ho il cervello che và in ferie): avevo semplicemente scordato di levare il mute nel canale master quindi anche se provavo ad alzare il volume restava muto!

Se tornasse utile non sai la felicità che mi procurerebbe...se non altro mi farebbe sentire un po' meno imbarazzato...comunque sempre restando in tema, ogni volta che riavvio la macchina il mute è attivo e lo devo togliere a mano ogni volta, qualcuno sà come posso fare a togliere il mute automaticamente? (spero che la soluzione non sia così banale come la prima!!!)

Forse un
all'avvio puo' dare i suoi frutti, controlla gli script di salvataggio di alsa e ripristino di alsa stesso per quando accendi e spegni la macchina.
