I use hotpop as my E-Mail server (my ISP's mail account is used by my dad). It works fine in Mozilla and KMail, and used to work fine with fetchmail/nbsmtp, but now they've gone and made SMTP authentication mandatory (no more POP authentication). As far as I can tell, nbsmtp can't authenticate with a username/password combo... or can it? Is there a similar program that can? I also know it's possible with postfix, but I couldn't figure it out.
Alternatively, does anyone know a different, reliable POP/SMTP mail server? Yahoo mail annoys me. _________________ Tactless
