Hi all,
I've got a Dell 40 node diskless cluster in progress and trying to figure out what flavor of linux would be best to maintain. The reason for my question is that I've been looking at Platform Rocks for cluster management and it states that Red Hat linux is used/supported. I still have yet to see if Red Hat is madatory.
I really favor gentoo's docs and agressive updating system portage and am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how well gentoo works with things like myrinet (fiber) support, Rocks, and cluster mgmt in general.
Any help, advice much apreciated. |
