LarryTheCow.com has a humor section. So far there are only two links, one to the site mentioned above and another to GeNToo (Gentoo for Windows NT). |

There's also the fortune packs:
games-misc/fortune-mod-gentoo-dev-20051222
games-misc/fortune-mod-gentoo-forums-20041207
Judging from he dates they don't seem to be maintained very much though... _________________ Please put [SOLVED] in your topic if you are a moron. |

Quote: | 09:10 < vegai> zap0: but think about how many know C and how many need to know C
09:11 < zap0> the day i decided "from this day forth, thou shall use -Wall -Werror for all programs and never run an app that does not pass that". After 6months of that and my production was still running at
good speed.. then i started to get an idea of what it means to program properly.
09:12 < tobi-wan> zap0: --pedantic, too?
09:13 < zap0> I still have to function and be able to hold converstaions with "normal" people, so i have forgone the --pedantic
09:14 < zap0> I know not of anyone that uses --pedantic and can still function in normal society
09:15 < tobi-wan> *lol*
09:15 < twkm> i use it, in fact -pedantic-errors.
09:15 < hrnt> IMHO pedantic is more important than -Wall
09:16 < tobi-wan> i guess it depends on how portable you want to remain |

If the 65000 is meant to be the wait for something to hit debian stable someone's missed a half dozen zeros |

I think it was there to figure in compile time. I don't think sleep goes high enough to make up for deb stable... _________________ The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner. |
