X wont reload after killed

everytime X gets stopped for one reason or another i cant seem to start it up again (startx). The screen flashes and just stays black. If i reboot however, i can startx once and then the whole thing starts again.

OK. In all politeness, that was a completely useless post.

1) Post some hardware
2) Since it is an X problem, read through the /var/log/Xorg.0.log and look for lines starting with (EE). If you find any, post the entire log.
3) If you post the entire log, you might as well post your /etc/x11/xorg.conf while you are at it.
