Well i just wanted to aks if you guys know some other performance kernel patches which i could use in my kernel.
At the moment i am using superpage, compressed caching, jiffies set patch and the gcc 3.2 patch unfortunately preempt isn't working it has some problems with supermount... and it maybe would corrupt my data because of the compressed caching...
And i also couldn't find a good low latency patch, it always gives me pain with the superpage so those two doesn't seem to work together.
The basic used kernel is a vanilla-sources 2.4.19
Thanks for tipps :-)

You could try ck sources. they've got some nice kernel patches. Though that's just aren't married to the idea of creating your own patch set.

I started using ck-sources recently myself, I set timer frequency to 400. Works well, haven't had any problems with it. Vanilla worked fine for me also but things are a little smoother if I'm compiling a several things at once.
