|
|
I've been having a problem for a long time where when I hotplug a device, the kernel detects it and it functions properly but udev doesn't automatically create device nodes. Running 'udevstart' updates everything properly, but it doesn't happen automatically. The same problem when I unplug the device - udev doesn't delete the device nodes. This has happened with numerous kernel versions and udev versions. I have hotplug installed, and have hotplug functionality, Connector, and Inotify enabled in the kernel. Any suggestions?
EDIT: Turns out I just had to update baselayout... never mind. |
