i'm trying pulseaudio, but when I start the daemon got this error:
pulsecore/module.c: Failed to open module "module-esound-protocol-unix": module-esound-protocol-unix.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Module load failed.
daemon/main.c: failed to initialize daemon.
what can I try to fix it ?? |

look if you have this file

I also don't know why you need esound as pulseaudio should be a replacement for it?!
EDIT: OK, found out that esound is neccessary for gstreamer and all gnome related soundstuff. pulseaudio can run in an compatible mode for esd avaiable apps.
As I also have problems with setting pulseaudio up I cant update with any useful information atm. |
