one problem for media player...

I have two files:
one is *.aiff for audio
one is *.m2v for video

I have to play them at the same time to get both video and audio.

Which media player can do such job? And How?

The player

media-video/mplayer

has the option -soundfile to play a different sound file while playing a video.
There are also graphical frontends for this player.

Indeed, mplayer is your friend

You could also use mkvmerge to put the two files into one container, which makes it more straightforward for media players to play.
