|
|
Hi,
I use gentoo (kernel 2.6.16-r7) on a Thinkpad R51 with Intel Extreme Graphics 2. Now, I've got suspend-to-ram to work with DRI in Xorg (6.8.2-r7) disabled. But when I enable DRI, and try suspending - X crashes and leaves the system unusable. A perusal of the Xorg.0.log file reveals the following,

I've found the problem also described at http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/pipermail/linux-thinkpad/2005-April/026043.html but no solutions.
Any help will be most welcome.

Moved from Documentation, Tips & Tricks to Kernel & Hardware.
[mod]As this is a support request thread regarding the kernel, I believe it belongs in K&H.[/mod] _________________ Jorge.
